A note about Robert Abbey's Natural Brass and Deep Patina Bronze Finishes. ROBERT ABBEY believes these finishes are most beautiful when left unlacquered and allowed to age gracefully. A traditional wax finish is applied after polishing which adds to the deep, rich look. This protects the finish to a degree and helps it to patina more slowly, in a natural way, rather than if left untreated.
